Über 13.000 Gäste, rund 4.000 Besucherinnen und Besucher am Public Day, 400 Aussteller von allen Kontinenten auf knapp 40.000 m² Ausstellungsfläche – so viel Teilnehmende wie dieser Tage in Hamburg hat der ITS Weltkongress in seiner 35-jährigen Geschichte noch nicht erlebt. Entsprechend positiv fällt das Fazit der Veranstalter ERTICO, ITS Hamburg 2021 GmbH und der Stadt Hamburg aus.

DLR und ADAC Luftrettung zeigen neues Konzept für Rettungsmobilität im Live-Versuch

Im Projekt Air2X hat das Deutsche Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) gemeinsam mit der ADAC Luftrettung und den Unternehmen NXP Semiconductors Germany sowie Consider IT ein Konzept entwickelt, wie sich Rettungseinsätze von Hubschraubern zum Beispiel auf Autobahnen oder Landstraßen sicherer und schneller durchführen lassen.

Volocopter’s electric heavy-lift drone VoloDrone conducted its first public flight today at ITS World Congress 2021. Together with the international logistics leader DB Schenker, Volocopter, the pioneer of urban air mobility (UAM), demonstrated VoloDrone’s seamless integration into the logistics supply chain with an end-to-end cargo transport demonstration. The partner showed their significant progress together since DB Schenker became a strategic investor of Volocopter in early 2020.

ITS 2021: DKT and carTRUST present forward-looking solutions for the automobility of the future

Ahrensburg, 11. October 2021 – At this year’s ITS World Congress, which will take place in Hamburg from October 11 to 15, DKT and carTRUST will present their digital solutions for the driving of the future. In Hall B5, Booth 007, visitors can learn about carTRUST, the secure digital identity of vehicles based on blockchain, as well as the hybrid license plates developed by DKT for the automated identification of vehicles. In combination, these technologies enable true digitalization in road traffic and thus represent key technologies for future smart cities.
