5GCroCo

The EU-funded 5GCroCo project evaluates three Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) use cases in cross-border environments, namely Tele-operated Driving, HD Map Generation and Distribution for Automated Vehicles, and Anticipated Cooperative Collision Avoidance. This demo presents 5G Edge Cloud based traffic jam detection where up-to-date warnings about the end of the traffic jam are provided. The current end of the traffic jam is determined by analysing anonymized status data transmitted from the vehicles to the Cloud.
