Bi-directional Multimodal Networking (BiDiMoVe)

The digitization project BiDiMoVe is a part of the Hamburg ITS strategy. It aims to put Hamburg in a pioneering role among German cities in the field of public transport acceleration. BiDiMoVe stands for bi-directional multimodal networking. The project objective is to equip a test track along the bus line M26 with communication elements to increase the safety and efficiency of the traffic flow. Additionally, a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) will be implemented in order to ensure a secure communication between the Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) components.
